Laser Cutting & Machining

Abrasive Water Jet Cutting & Machining

Laser Industries utilizes two state of the art multi-axis high-powered CO2 flatbed laser cutting and machining systems. Close tolerance blanks are cut from full sheets and plate stock within a 60" x 120" work envelope. Sheets can be indexed to 240" for long sheet processing.

Materials processed with laser cutting systems include: high temp alloys, aluminum, steel, stainless steel, plastics, composites, rubber, and woods. Tolerances of +/- .010 can be achieved in most laser cutting applications and tolerances as tight as +/- .002 can be achieved in specific sheet metal applications. Tight nesting of parts on large sheets and minimum kerf loss (.010) allows for improved material utilization and reduced material costs.

Laser Cutting Process Specifications

  • Steel: Up to .750”
  • Stainless: Up to .500”
  • Inconel: Up to .375”
  • Titanium: Up to .375”
  • Aluminum: Up to .250”
  • Composites: Up to .500”
  • Wood Up to .750
  • Acrylic Up to .750

Our state of the art flatbed laser cutting equipment allows Laser Industries to meet the toughest cutting applications, combining both speed and power. High power processing (peak power exceeding 4000 watts) allows for power piercing holes quickly on thick materials and high speed processing on some materials exceeding 300 IPM.

Mitsubishi 3015 LZP:
